On December 17, Saskatchewan held a new draw inviting immigration candidates to apply for a Canadian permanent residence via provincial nomination program.
Candidates from the International Skilled Worker group were invited by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) via two subcategories: Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand.
A total of 576 invitations were sent out to immigration applicants who had job experience in select careers.
A total of 190 were invited and 386 invitations sent to candidates in Occupations In-Demand sub-category.
Candidates from both sub-categories had to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles to the SINP in order to be invited to this draw. Regardless of the category, invited candidates were required to have an EOI score of at least 71. This is not the Comprehensive Ranking System cutoff, but the provincial criterion.
